Nice perch. A slight head turn away from you would have enhanced the eye contact further. Slight less space on the left would be good. Which AF point do you use? Please check if the AF point was locked on the cactus (?). Thanks for sharing.

The image doesn't look sharp. Is it a large crop? Where was it photographed? The subject is at the centre of the frame which makes the image static. An offcentre composition makes it more dynamic. Thanks for sharing.

This was photographed around Bandipur area, not a large crop... will work on the image today in lightroom, my light room is ready now :-)
