    Default Red Wattled Lapwing

Visited Hesaraghatta Lake near Bangalore (lake without water) last sunday.. this is my first visit to this place.. and i had actually gone around looking for a real lake with water (following google maps)....Looks like water is just dried up due to summers as the soil is still soft and wet.. Found few Red Wattled lapwings and few Juv Kites and clicked their images for some time.

One of the images i thought i did well.

Nice flight shot. It would have enhanced the composition further had the bird been flying towards you than going away from you. The upward wing stroke looks nice. Thanks for sharing.

I agree with Mrudul's comment. In wildlife photography, subject moving into the frame is valued more. Hope it rains well. I have heard that Hessarghatta has been destroyed by digging up the entire place...
