This was shot in Mangalajodi. The poles in the background are definitely distracting here. Your thoughts?

Nice perch. Good eye contact. Nice catch light. I think some more sharpness in the eye would have been good. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Bibhav, great interacting with you after quite a while . . . how have you been ?
I took the liberty of experimenting the white balance on your picture. The orange tint meant the White balance was more towards the 3000K in the wavelength chart. I moved this closer to 5000K a reading between the Orange and the Blue (which is normally around 9000K) and this is what i got. . . . .Don't know if this is the right thing to do, but i though the details were slightly better . . . what do you think ?

Rajan
Nice image Bibhav. Since the bg is pleasantly diffused the poles dont seem too distracting to me. Agree with Rajanji, the image looks sharper but I prefer the bg in your post. Wish we could have the best of both worlds . Thanks for sharing.
Bibhav's image had too much of colour and as a result the background was dominating. Rajan's version brings the focus back on the kingfisher. Those poles are a distraction despite being diffused.
