    Default Elephant charge

Canon EOS 1 D Mark II, Canon Ef 28-135 f3.5-5.6 IS lens, ISO 400, f6.3, 1/160 at 135mm, full frame image.

This is one of the shots that is sharp when the elephant was charging and the jeep was moving.

    Cheers,
    Sabyasachi

Nice image....the ears portray a lot in such situations...also the eye is clearly visible which adds to the effect of the image!!

Nice and sharp even though you took it from a moving vehicle. The eyes have come out sharp that too from head on. Good one there. A vertical image would have given an impression of its size in my opinion. Let me know what you feel about this...

I increased the contrast a bit and a tad sharpened along with the crop.

    Bibhav,
The only reason I didn't do a vertical was because of the elephant at the back. I would wait to see what others feel.

    Cheers,

I feel vertical frame will work if the elephant in backgraound is not there, otherwise the horizontal one looks just right.
Also I feel you can try increasing contrast little bit.
you have captured the motion very well. Lovely frame

although i am not an expert..i agree with sabyasachi and kiran and feel that the horizontal one looks better because of the elephant at the BG. Also the effect of the chase looks better because of the wider look!!

I feel the horizontal works here because of the elephant at the back.
