    Default Leopard at Bandipur

    This was photographed at Bandipur National Park last week.

    Canon EOS 1 D Mark II, Canon EF 400mm f2.8 L IS USM, EF 2xII ie. at 800 mm, ISO 400, f5.6, 1/400 sec, EV: +1/3rd, full frame.

    Lovely..would have loved had it turned to look or was walking towards you...neverthless a nice image

    Raining leopards on Indiawilds ... amazing one, love the feel of image, shallow dof and inclusion of surroundings give nice feel.
    I am not sure about tree in left foreground, sometime it is distracting and sometime adds to the image.

    Murugun, I too thought on similar lines but somehow I feel that would be completely different image. this images itself is unquie.

    I think this is a fine and effective environmental shot that conveys the spirit of the animal in it's environment. I also this this meets the requirements of a good picture, i.e., it tells a story. Why has the leopard stopped? Has it seen something? What will happen next?

    Nice shot Sabyasachi. The leopard looking at the camera would have been nice but this too tells a beautiful story. Very nice.
