Here f/8 or f/10 would have got all the egrets in sharp focus (depth of field) , that would given a symmetric that all are perched in-line in a lush green field.
This is my opinion , I would like in this way , however it is subjective.
To be precise ; these are Eastern cattle egret. TFS
Nice compo. the feilds frame the egrets well. what time was this shot?

Nice to see so many egrets in the field. The vertical composition works well here. Agree a higher ISO with a narrower aperture would have helped to get more of them in focus. Did you crawl through the fields to get this ? Thanks for sharing.
I agree with the previous comments. Looks like a few wise men sitting.
The breeding plumage of the egrets look nice and along with the green fields look good.
Lovely. Love this shot.
Dear all,
Thanks for the comments. It was around 11AM to 12 Noon when i took the shot. Was sitting by the roadside, where a few wild grasses had grown which have framed the lower part of the snap.
hi hari
I asked as i have seen egrets do this (line up on the gaps) in the paddy feilds once the sun is high, shd check with some one the reason for this if any
