    Lovely bird. Did you hear it's voice? Reducing the contrast and lifting the blacks a bit would strengthen the image. Thanks for sharing.

    Nice perch and eye contact. The composition looks good. The long tail feathers look nice. Wish the light was better. Thanks for sharing.

    Lovely image. Krishnan's favourite songbird.

    It makes me nostalgic of the nineties.
    Opposite to the famous Dakshineswar Kali Temple, on the bank of the Ganga, near Ballyghat railway station, a Shama couple used to build a nest on a tree during the spring as if ------

    Saktipadaji, Sabyasachi,we were woken up daily hearing the divine melody of this bird.Its song has to be heard to be believed.Unlucky are those who have never heard the tuneful variations of this birds song.Truly one of natures wonders.
