Olive Ridley is most beautiful turtle. It is among threatened species.
Congrats for such shot.
We would love to see more images like shot taken from distance.

If you look at the older images in this section you will find lots of olive ridley images...
I hadposted images of their mating, nesting and hatching... Had been documenting their annual nesting rituals earlier this year...
A very unusual image. It does indeed have an abstract feel to it. Could you have possibly gone lower, to light up more of the tract?
Had been to Orissa on a zoology field trip in Jan this year, unfortunately we had to cancel Gahirmatha due to some problems regarding the travelling... Then we got to see a dead Olive Ridley on Puri Beach...
Definitely a different image. I wish the light had been softer.
