    Default Vulnerable Woolly-necked Stork

The woolly-necked stork (Bengali name - Manik-Jor) is also known as bishop stork or white-necked stork (Ciconia episcopus). It can also be known as the episcopos or mannickjore. It is a tropical species which breeds in Asia, from India to Indonesia, and also in Africa. But now especially in West Bengal it is rarely seen. IUCN categorizes it as vulnerable species.
