    Default Tusker Crossing Ramganga

Tusker crossing Ramganga river in Corbettscape
    Nikon, Nikor, 70-200 f2.8, image shot at 70mm, f5, ISO 200, 1/320s

Believe it or not, like for Jim Corbett killing of snake was always lucky with shooting maneaters. For me sighting tusker has been always lucky till date, whenever I have sighted tusker, in following hours of that day I had always sighted tiger.

Nice image in his empire of roar, trumpet and song. True representative of Himalaya foothills tusker - in built, size and long uniform barrel-type tusks crossing Ramganga. Thanks for sharing. SaktiWild

Nice to see this tusker in water. I like the composition. Higher contrast and lower saturation will be good. Thanks for sharing.

Nice piece of heaven . How it would have been less than 100 years ago when this heaven had stretched for hundreds of kilometers along the shivaliks. thanks for sharing.

A 100 years ago the likes of Jim Corbett and F. W. Champion were roaming around in these jungles. At the same time in Central India there was Dunbar Brander and others. I am sure if there was a way to go back in time, the way H. G. Wells described in his book Time Machine and later on used in films like Terminator series, there would be many takers.
