Nice. You could have done with a lower ISO. Any more shots? It would be great if you could submit this record to this database as well - http://www.marinemammals.in/index.ph...ubmit-a-record .

Lovely. In our trip to Sunderbans last year we also very lucky to sight a big group of Irrawady Dolphins in Sunderbans. It surely is an amazing sight to watch them. You can check the image at the below link -

Thanks for sharing.
Rare and Nice image. 'Rare' as because it dives at so short intervals that photography is itself difficult, even if you could get the body or the head, capturing its tail is extremely difficult. The image looks almost like a whale diving.
Image(s) of Suman Bhai and Madam Mrudul are complementary and IndiaWilds Forum now has the full image of Irrawaddy Dolphin of Sundarbans. Congratulations. Nice moment for all of us. Thanks for sharing. SaktiWild
Good to know that you had sighted the Irrawaddy dolphins in Sundarbans in April. What was the exact date. We had sighted it last year in January as Mrudul has posted. We had sighted them twice in our 8 day trip. However this year in May we failed to sight any dolphins.
A simple search in IndiaWilds forums will help any one get accurate records of sightings of any species.
To get the head in the photo one needs to anticipate and click. Else one tends to miss the head. Nevertheless in this image we could see the complete tail. How big was the pod of dolphins? Thanks for sharing.
Cheers,
