    Can some one confirm is this Indian Scope Owl ? I could manage only this click before the family ducked inside the tree hole.

    Looks like Indian Scops-Owl (Collared Scops-Owl) -Otus bakkamoena - larger one is Female and smaller one -Male. Nice find. Good take. Thanks for sharing. SaktiWild

    Nice composition. It seems there was some shake. Was it taken from a moving vehicle? Maybe using a higher shutter speed would have helped to get more details. Thanks for sharing.

    P.S - It would be nice if you can mention the EXIF details in the post and not on the image. Thanks.

    this sighting was for less than a minute, taken from a Tempo Traveller.

    Where was it clicked. When the engine of the vehicle is on, there is a lot of vibration. So if you rest your camera or lens on the vehicle and the engine is running, then you are more likely to get a soft image.

    Valparai, TamilNadu.
    This was on the main road to Sholayar Dam, owl pair was nesting on a tree in tea estate.
