Nice picture of the spoonbill, Dr.Katre. The 'bill' is well documented in the picture, however there seems to be some noise. Possibly due to tough light conditions or maybe due to post processing? Thanks for sharing.
Hi Murugan, thanks for the appreciation. The noise is because of low light and substantial cropping.
Nice sighting. The black bill with a yellow tip, crest and the yellow breast patch shows it is in breeding plumage. Since it is a crop, a slight more space at the bottom (for its imaginary legs) would be nice. How are the sightings in Bhigwan? Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Mrudul. I agree with your suggestion about legs. There are hundreds of flamingos at Bhigwan this time of the year, sighting is good, however water level is still very high, so sighting is somewhat difficult.
It is always difficult to get enough depth of field covering a spoonbill as it has a long bill. Agree with slightly more space. Thanks for sharing.
