Dear Friends,
It's a pleasure watching birds in their environment especially near their food source. Lucky to have spotted this Asian Koel, female very close to where I was standing.
We were in Uran (place near Navi Mumbai known for wetlands) looking for some water-birds ,unaware of rich arboreal life. Suddenly saw my friend focusing on small mangrove shrub near me. Without making any sound, realized, this specimen feeding on red berries. There is never enough time ,when you are so close & immediately shot with focal length available & existing settings.
Before we could alter our settings to get full body of bird, it was gone. Also other parts were all hidden in the shrub & only head was visible prominently.
Hope you like & enjoy it.
