Nice shot of Francolin! it is a beautiful bird that you have captured.
The head turn is nice. They don't give us many chances to click. You need to wait and then they can come close. Chasing them yields no result. I remember this was while waiting for the desert cat.

Nice picture of the bird, Mrudul. Its quite a frisky bird and a difficult one to click especially if there is quite a bit of undergrowth near by. I have often seen them late in the mornings as compared to other times of the day. Thanks for sharing.
I never got a decent photo of this species. Nice head turn perfect timing.
