ID: Murdannia semiteres(Panicled Dewflower)
One of my favourite bloom of monsoon, along the rocky regions of the ‘Northern Western ghats’, probably seen in other areas too, these tiny yet bright flowers stand out dramatically along the greenish carpet of the monsoon grass and moss. Though not easily spotted from far distance, these 4-5mm blooms can be seen while traversing through the natural trails and are, sort of, difficult subject to capture the beauty that it possesses. Most of the time, they flow around with the breeze running down the hills, and low light, due to the cloud covers, makes capturing the details even more exhausting. Usually surrounded by the blades of the grass/herb, this frame showcases the habitat-isc shot of the beauty.
