ID: Katydid
Accidentally spotted this freshly molted katydid on the dried-up part of the plant, and what was astonishing is the fact that it was blending so well with the colours and the texture of the plant it had taken refuge in for the molting process. You can spot the molt on the rear end of the beauty. The only major give away were those unusually elongated antenna and rear limbs.
Something I would want to know, from the experts, do these katydids vary the body colour depending on the seasonal variations or these are a different form of katydid.
