    Wink hey,

i'm sorry im not good with details but i had visited pulicat a couple of years ago.
and i must say that an amazing thing to do, is to drive from chennai early in the morning... or maybe even after a late night

we reached there at 4 a.m.... the place lighting up is probably one of the most amazing scenes ive seen. the fisherman are out at that time and back by six.

now as first light hits, ul see loads and loads of birds. all kinds of them and back then i could barely identify any.

but a 15 rs. ride on the boat to the light house on the other side.. and then if u walk alone that side... its brilliant... that side is much quieter... and the whole place is magical.... very different from my previous visit, which was probably around 10 a.m or so....

dont know if it helps but none the less

Thanks Mandappa. I think your account gives us an idea of Pulicat during the winters perhaps when the lake is still inundated with water. I will surely keep in mind your account while planning in for my next visit.

    Thanks a lot!
