Atul Sinai - When we spotted this guy he was busy feeding on insects and simultaneously was keeping a watch on us. As he kept moving away from us, we still remained unmoved and suddenly from a distance he stood tall to check our presence & I clicked this image. These were wonderful moments of the mongoose that is quite fresh in my mind.

I really like the pose praveen. i ve seen the ruddy ones do this but its only a second and gone .they dont stay in this pose for long like african meerkats (on TV) do.Your timing is spot on .Nice details and compo as well.
