The longest river of Kerala;the Periyar drains into the Lakshadeep sea near Kodungallur(Trichur dist 35 kms from Kochi).I always dream of traversing the entire length(about 245kms)of the river....either on the river or off it!

Even if you were not able to traverse the entire length of the river, you could at least see the ariel view . We normally don't get to see the point where the river meets the sea. The view is not very clear, but I think there seems to be lot of greenery near that portion. Is that some forest area? Thanks for sharing.
