Good to see a green pigeon. Harada chadhei is the name in odiya. In my village I had seen them very close- hardly 15 feet away in the branches oblivious of my presence. However, in the forests most of the times we need a long lens to get closeups.

At the moment our eye goes to the empty space at the middle. So it would have been nice if there was more space on the left. Thanks for sharing.

nice abhirup... they blend perfectly into the leaves, more often than not the rustling in the leaves and the fluty song of the bird is what makes one notice them...and then you can enjoy their acrobatics for hours to gather if patient enough.
