Rajan, this is closer and should be sharp. But there is a fall off in IQ on the bird. I can't figure out why this is happening. Are your pics resized to under 200kb before uploading?

Well, to be honest, i have not been paying attention to this aspect of late since i use Picasa for resizing (after PP with Photoshop) and i had set it earlier for 200KB.

Now that you brought this up, i did look up the image size just before uploading to the forum and it reads 296KB. I guess the uploading s/w kind of chops it out . . . .

Anyways, i can use Photoshop to do this (as a preset)?

Okay, use Photoshop's Save for Web command. Here select JPEG. There is a slider on the top right, for quality and you see the file size at the bottom left of the screen. Move the slider until the file is below 200k, then save and upload. Do try this and let me know if it works (it should).

    Thanks Apana, it does work.

BTW, i presume IQ stands for Image Quality. If not, and if it is an acronym for something else, please do give me a quick intro to it, if you don't mind . . .
