Default Royal Flyer - Indian Peafowl @ Ranthambhore National Park

I saw this Royal Flyer sitting on one of the Fort ruins inside Ranthambhore National Park during my May 2013 visit. The sky was very bright and the Peafowl looked darker so I tried to edit the image to make the bird look brighter...

    EXIF:

    Camera: Canon EOS Rebel T3i/600D
Lens: Sigma 150-500mm F5-6.3 APO DG OS HSM
    F-Stop: f/8
    Exposure: 1/125
    ISO: 200
    Focal Length: 247mm
Edited using GIMP freeware and just over exposed the background to make sky white and no cropping done.

Nice composition. The flying feathers look nice. Good eye contact. When the background is bright, then you can give a +ve exposure compensation to make the subject brighter, else the subject can get underexposed. Thanks for sharing.

Good attempt at a "High Key" image. Liked the composition and head turn.

    Thanks for sharing
