    Default Two tailed wolf spider

This well camouflaged beauty was a resident on one of the palm tree and would stay in this position for days (as I had seen in this same position for several days). It would stretch it and would be almost flat but had seen it, kinda stand up, for a moment but I couldnt capture that moment as it probably became aware of my presence and went back to flattened position. There were a few more around but this one was almost 2.5-3 inches across and was the biggest among the others. Another interesting observation was its speed to move around, accidentally my lens came too close to comfort for the spider and it disappeared only to be found on the other side of the tree and this was in a fraction of a second that it moved out and stayed flat, almost camouflaged at the other side

    Canon EOS 550D
    Canon 55-250IS

Interesting behaviour. The side angle helps to show how flat it can stay on the tree and so well camouflaged. Nicely captured and observed. Thanks for sharing.
