Seshachar's Bush Frog - Raorchestes charius | Kudremukh Tiger Reserve
As one ascends to the higher elevations of Karnataka's ghats (mainly the Kudremukh range, the Baba Budan range, and the hills of Coorg and Hassan), the distinctive nasal "quanck" of this very vocal species becomes almost ubiquitous. This was photographed just below Kudremukh peak, where the cold, wet, wind-swept grasslands were teeming with these frogs.
