The "Jacobin Cuckoo" is also known as Pied Crested Cuckoo or Pied Cuckoo. The glimpse of this bird is observed in Late Summer because it is partially migratory in India and it has been considered a harbinger of the monsoon rains due to the timing of its arrival. It is told that this cuckoo waits for rains to quench its thirst after long dry summer. Here it is a snap of juvenile Jacobin.
