    Default The tree top observer

    ID: Langoor

Spotted this beauty on top of a tree along with another one, while we were traversing along a trail along Matheran. The surprising fact was that both of them were not bothered with our presence and rather settled there and aided us in getting some interesting frames.

Expression nicely captured. Composition is fine. Looks like Semnopithecus hypoleucos achates. Thanks for sharing. SaktiWild

The high treetops offer a nice observation point for them. Wish there was some more space on the left as the tips of the legs are getting cut. Good eye contact. Thanks for sharing.

They would be used to humans in the trails so they were not bothered by your presence. How large was the troop?
