Reminds me of the animal ' Push me Pull you' from Dr. Dolittle ! I would have preferred it if you had zoomed out a bit to include more of the surroundings / habitat.
Yes, taking a good enviornment shot is a real challenge, specifically if there are lot of distracting dead branches and bushes.
The following shot has a little bit more space at the bottom.
