    Nice profile image. Liked the catch light and the details. The low angle looks good. Wish the tail tip feathers were not cut. Thanks for sharing.

    I agree that a wider composition with the complete tail would look better. The eye contact is nice. The crest looks nice. Is this a large crop? You need to check the point of focus. Since the bird is parallel to the sensor plane it becomes easier to get the whole bird covered within the depth of field. At 1/1000 shutter speed, the image ought to be sharper and with more details. Thanks for sharing.
