Great to see a kingfisher with its prey. Slightly more contrast will be better. Were you shooting handheld or on a tripod? I think slightly less space at the right would have strengthened the composition. Thanks for sharing.

Kingfisher with a frog(?), that is great, had not seen that before. Could you observe it eating that? Did it swallow it directly or kept it on the branch and then ate? Thanks for sharing.

thanks friends, it is a crab. the bird swallowed with lot of struggle, it kept tossing it to make the job easier. i have got very good shots of tossing the prey in air.
