    Osprey clicked at Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary, Goa..What a great experience it was to click this mighty bird with a catch. it was like dream come true.

    Nice to see this bird with a catch. Looks like it was too far. Are these bamboos placed by fishermen? Thanks for sharing.

    Thanks Sabyasachi, The Bamboos are placed by the Forest Dept so that people dont get closer to the birds there and also the water level changes due to tides and people may take their boats and get stuck there. Usually the Brahminy Kites, Harries and Kingfishers are found to be sitting on the Bamboos and Egrets, Curlews, Storks, Redshanks, Greenshanks Terns,and Sandpipers are found to be sitting on other side of bamboos.
