Nice pose. Good eye contact. A rectangular composition with more space on the right and bottom would have enhanced the composition further. The colours look good. Thanks for sharing.

Ya i understand the composition would be better with space on the right.. but there were distracting grass and waste on the right.. so had to close crop this.. thanks for your comments
Why not try a vertical composition with a bit more space at the bottom and top? If possible moving a bit to the right and clicking the bird with its head parallel to the lens would have strengthened the image.
