Nice perch and eye contact. I like the bill and grasping type of feet. Wish you got the red vent documented, but this uncertainty makes nature photography forward looking. Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild
Thanks Sakti.. this bird was not resting.. yeah the Red Vent would added to the beauty. I had couple of shots but the birds was lookin the other side.

I like the eye contact. The contrast has to be lowered and shadows lifted. The black portion in the head has completely lost details. While processing, you have to first set the black level and ensure that there are details in the dark areas.
Shaktipadaji was pointing out that this bird has got its name due to its red vent and that is not visible now as it is hidden behind the branch when viewed from this angle. Thanks for sharing.
