    Smile Tawny Fish Owl

Tawny Fish-Owl species is threatened by destruction of the habitat, especially forests, and it is vulnerable to persecution. However, the species is not currently threatened. This owl was tracked on elephant back deep inside the forest. Since Tawny fish owls are teritorial, the mahut knew where to find . NIKON D7000, f/8, 1/1000s, 400mm, ISO 6400, aperture 4.3

Nice sighting. Some more brightness would have been good. I love their eyes and their raised horn like ears. Thanks for sharing.

Usually owls prefer the same perches, so the guides and naturalists are usually aware about where to find them . Nice eye contact. Some noise due to the high ISO. Thanks for sharing.
