Golden -backed Woodpeaker on a tree trunk in search of insect's larves & eggs. Because of his this work he is also called "Doctor of the forest".

Nice eye contact. Good perch with clean background. Some more sharpness would have been good. Is this a crop? Thanks for sharing.

Nature has given this bird a sharp and strong beak to dig holes and look for juicy insects. Some more details in the bird would have been good.
