    Birds are colourful and hence give us much joy even when their calls are not melodious to our ears.

    You have used f4, so depth of field is low. From this position, the body is close to us and the head is a few inches away. So the head is not covered by depth of field. This needed a narrow aperture. Thanks for sharing.

    nice pose and compo.agree on the dof ,the plumage on the back looks sharp with good details, the head looks soft.
