I remember this scene. I am happy to see the 28-135 mm lens put to good use. The catchlight in the eye makes it better. You have rightly given a positive compensation else, the subject would have been darker.
A less acute angle would have been better. But with a small lens one needs to go closer.

I had taken the previous shots w/o EV compensation.. you told me to do so after that.. and then i got this shot . This one was with the 18-55. had to crop for composition
Wish you had got it from a higher angle. Otherwise a good image.

I don't mind the full frame... in fact the cloud formation that looks like it "bridges the gap" between the tree tops looks interesting. What's the white thing at the bottom though?
