Default Corbett Reserve-Love at first sight for me

It is not surprising, the reason why Corbett Reserve, was love at first sight. This shot was taken from elephant back on the island formed by Ramganga, Gethiaroa can be seen on the far side, on a misty morning of December 2012.
    Nikon D3100, with Nikor 55mm, 1/15s, aperture 5.

    Beautiful picture postcard!

Though the image is a bit soft due to the low shutter speed, the misty horizon adds to the composition. The pose of the stag, a direct stare, is a huge bonus to the picture.

Nice landscape of Patli Dun. Unique and mystic look: to continue till February. The sambar does not know who is lurking nearby, but looks alert; as always. Thanks for sharing.SaktiWild

It is always a nice experience to be in Corbett. The shutter speed was low for handholding. A bean bag or even a folded jacket would help in making the camera steady in such low shutter speeds. Thanks for sharing.

Nice display of habitat. I think a bit less space at the bottom and slight more at the top to include the foggy background would have enhanced the composition further. Thanks for sharing.
