Nice composition. Lovely colours. I think the image is not focused. Please check where the AF point is locked. Maybe you were closer than the minimum focusing distance required for the lens to focus. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for the valuable feedback. Yes, I was a bit closer to the subject as I wanted to avoid the background which was not appropriate.

Were you using the EF-s 55-250 lens? Its Minimum focusing distance is 3.6 feet. Which is actually shorter than that of other lenses. However while shooting in order to get closeups people move much closer than the minimum focusing distance of their lenses. So keep that in mind while clicking next time.
