    Default Pakke Sunset

Sunset on the river Pakke. Clicked just outside the gate of Pakke Tiger Reserve.

Canon 500D, Canon 18-55mm IS (at FL 28mm)
    SS 1/8
    Av 5.6
    ISO 800
    EC -0.3
    Full frame, shot hand held.
(The detail-less riverbed and trees are intentional, I wanted the sky and water to be the only lit elements.)

    Thanks, C&C welcome.

Nice colours. When there are no details, the shape, form, colours get the attention. In this case, the colours are nice. The eye moves into the image through the dominant water channel. I really wanted to see the classic "S" curve of the river here. That would have lifted the image by several notches. The other way to try this image is from a high point where the winding river is more visible. Thanks for sharing.

Nice mood of the evening captured. Liked the colours in the sky and the composition. A pano composition (less space at the top) would also work here. Thanks for sharing.

I think you have hugely succeeded in getting one's attention to the colors. They do look lovely. However, I would also be curious to see what's around. Thanks for sharing.
