It gives me immense pleasure to share with all that Vikas Madhav our youngest member has been awarded the Young Naturalist award by Sanctuary Asia. I just got to know about it from his mom Dr Prasanna Sriya. Since he was too young, his mother used to post on his behalf. One of his observations has been posted here: http://www.indiawilds.com/forums/sho...ded-Fish-Eagle
Vikas is now a Class X student. We wish this passionate boy a wonderful future ahead. The future of India's wilds lie in the hands of such young men and women. Perhaps it may be a bit unfair to place such a burden of expectation on our youngsters, however increasingly that appears to be the only hope as our generation has failed to preserve Wild India.
Congratulations Vikas!
Congratulations is also due to his mom Dr. Prasanna, as not many kids get the opportunity to be nurtured and encouraged to follow their passion.
Cheers,
Sabyasachi
