Wild Dog Kill (Spotted Deer)

This is one of my best moments i had for past few years. I was fortunate to see live & photograph the full action of a pack of 14 wild dogs who made an excellent ambush and chased a spotted deer towards a water body called Kavare Katte in Bandipur Forest. Dogs are excellent swimmers, so there was very less chance a deer can make any escape. I have shot over 200 photographs of this action packed kill, the whole drama lasted for about 30 mins. I shall share more pictures soon.

Lovely Behaviour and action captured. The image quality is however low... Would have liked the space on top which seems to have been cropped off...

Lovely action you have witnessed. One doesn't come across this often so consider yourself to be blessed. The image is tilted. It needs s clock wise rotation. It is good that the eye of the dhole is clearly seen.
