There seems to be some movement in the bird due to which it is not critically sharp. The light is nice. the background seems busy and distracts a bit.
Nice image. Its quite difficult to photograph this bird. Its good you got it in the clear. I agree about the movement. Thanks for sharing..

The shutter speed of 1/125 was quiet low for this bird. Unfortunately, you were already at ISO 400. ISO 800 in the D80 would result in a lot of noise. So one has to keep trying in such circumstances, till the bird remains stationary for a moment. Thanks for sharing.

Good try in the given circumstances... Agree this bird is difficult to photograph.
