Beautiful colours. The wing spread is nice. I liked the clean background. You can crop just a bit from the bottom to remove the hint of the branch. Slight more space on the right would also enhance the composition further. Try reducing the highlights on the branch. Look forward to more.

Agree with Mrudul's suggestions. Lovely clean BG. I feel some more sharpness will improve the image.
This is a Carpenter bee (genus Xylocopa).
I agree with Mrudul's suggestion. The bee is in the centre of the image. Placing it to the left would have helped strengthen the image. Thanks for sharing.
I like the bee colours. I think a vertical composition would have done better.

Thanx all for suggestions...
heres 'm uploading the same photo again, but i have worked on it using Nikon capture NX2
tried to do wht was suggested....
next time i will try to use advice while capturing...
Pls comment on this too as i think post processing also an important part of photography.. at least for me as 'm learning more while correct the photos..
The repost looks better with the slight crop from bottom and offcentre positioning.
