    Nice sighting. There seems to be some loss of details, is this a crop? The eye contact is good. Please post the EXIF details to help in commenting. Thanks for sharing.

    I like the open beak. The angle is steep however the underside details near the neck are visible nicely. Is this a big crop? Do post exif info too. Thanks for sharing.

    Wish you could have seen it at a lower angle. Agree with the previous comments.

    Sorry I didn't see the comments requesting exif data for the image. Here it is
    Shutter speed priority, 1/400, AV 10.0 Exposure compensation nil, ISO 400, Focal length 375 mm white balance mode - daylight. Camera body Canon 450D. Lens EF 100-400.
    I would have been the happiest to get the bird at eye level !!!
