The open beak is nice. I liked the eye contact. What was it trying to do? Look forward to more.

Wow f/16 has worked wonders here. I like the water patterns. Did you take any at shallower DOFs as well? The pose is nice. Maybe you can make a short story by images from your pelican shots
In this image I had increased the dof here to get some more details in the ripples in the water.
Well I have tons of Pelican images. Don't want to bore you guys. So had posted a few. Having said that, I think I am yet to create an image that completely sums up the character of the pelican.
