Its quite difficult to photograph this bird as it is usually found in thick bushes. The eye contact. There seems to be one more in the background. There is some noise in the background. I think reducing the sharpness a bit would be good. Is this a crop? Thanks for sharing.

Good to know that you got to do some photography as well when friends were around. Could you get a few of your friends hooked to wildlife photography?
The light seemed to be less. Else, f8 would have been better here.
