    Default Leopard descends from tree

Sighted the leopard and its cub in the tree in Kabini. Unfortunately they were too far and the vegetation was dense resulting in too many distracting branches. However, that's the reason why the leopard and its cub were resting in that branch.

The vehicle had 9 people including the driver and naturalist. Everyone (except the driver who spotted the leopard, hats off to him) were standing on their seats. Even people with point and shoot cameras were trying to take a shot. Needless to say the vehicle was rocking like a boat - not at all conducive for serious photography.

I was not expecting the shot to be sharp. This was one among the few that I could manage to get sharp.

Inspite of the distance and the intervening leaves, the coat of the leopard looks so shiny and clean... lovely shot sabya bhai... any shots of the cub?
