Juv Baya Weaver!

Shot this Baya Weaver at my farm, there is a group of at least 15 of these birds busy building nest. It is amazing to watch them weave the nest to perfection.

I wish you had a higher depth of field, so that the eye as well as the vegetation would have been in focus. Good to see that you have baya weavers in your farm as well.

The vertical composition looks good. Nice perch and the vegetation adds to the image. Agree about the higher depth of field. Seems after Ranganathittu we should plan for birding at your farm . Thanks for sharing.

Friends correction in the id, just got to know that this is a Streaked Weaver and not Baya. However I have few images of Baya that I shot in the farm at the same time, will post them soon
