    The shallow depth of field due to f4 aperture has not covered the eye unlike the previous image where f8 had helped in covering the head as well as the leaves.

    Since you were using the bean bag, you can also go to live view and zoom and focus manually and then click.

    I agree that the DOF has not covered the whole body. Some more space on the left would have been better. The details on the wings and breast look good. Thanks for sharing.
